Show SERVICES OVER REMAINS OF LULU ANDERSON AT EMERY Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Lulu S Anderson, wife of Bishop A. W. Anderson of Emery, who died at Emery May 7th leaving a family of nine children, were held at Emery on the 9th inst. She was a daughter of Mrs. Annie S. Condie of this city, and her mother, Mr. and Mrs-. Erastus B. Snow and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Snow, all of this city attended the funeral services. Mrs. Anderson was a daughter of Mrs. Annie Stafford Snow and the late Erastus B. Snow of this city and was born at Mexico City, Mexico, August 29, 1SSS. The speakers at the funeral were Elders Carl L. Albertson, Horace Foot, Peter Olsen', Lars P Oveson and Gerald I. Olsen; Sisters Hessie Bunderson, Georgia Anderson, May Christainsen, Lizzie Belle Olsen and Lars P. Overson. Glowing tributes were paid the deceased sistpr for her splendid character, her devotion to duty and her love of children, husband hus-band and home. Musical numbers given were "Tho' Deepening Trials," choir; vocal duet, "Some Time We'll Understand," by Rose Olsen and Anna Mortensen; vocal solo, "O My Father." George Brinkerhoff; vocal duet by August Gehring and wife, "Cast Thy Bread," etc.; Sel. by choir, "Sister Thou Wast Mild and Lovely." The opening prayer was by Isaac Allred; benediction by Alfred J. Broderick. The grave was dedicated by Elder John Broderick. |
