Cal., to drill the well. Charles D. Alsop is in charge of the drilling and the Alsop well, in Sec. 19. which is down 140 feet, is the place, it having been decided to carry this well down. Mr. Alsop was stopped drilling by a court order, at the instance of the Uzona Oil Co., when he had made 140 feet. It now looks as though Mr. Alsop and the Uzona. people had settled their differences and are going go-ing ahead amicably to prove the ground. The Uzona Oil Co. was recently reorganized re-organized with Wilford Day of Parowan. Paro-wan. president; Fred T. Gunn of Beaver, vice president; W. F. Murdock Mur-dock of Beaver, secretary-treasurer; Fred Biederman of Cedar City and T. J. Futrelle of St. George, additional addi-tional directors. |
