Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS State Engineer's Office, Salt Lake City, Utah, May 2nd, 19 2 7. Notice is hereby given that the Dixie Power Company whose princi.-pal princi.-pal place of business1 is Cedar City, Utah, has made application in accordance accord-ance with the requirements of the Compiled Laws of Utah, 1917 as amended by the Session Laws of Utah 1919 and 1925 to appropriate 4000 acre feet of water from Santa Clara Creek and Dameron Wash in Washington Wash-ington County, Utah. 2000 acre ft. are to be diverted from Santa Clara Creek at a point S. 25 31' W. 2552.5 ft. from the NE cor. of Sec. 32, T. 39 S., R. 16 W., and conveyed by means of a ditch a distance of approx. 20,-000 20,-000 ft. and discharged into a reservoir reser-voir known as. the Carter Reservoir located in the natural channel of Dameron Wash, the center of the impounding im-pounding dam of which bears N. 19 0' E. 2310 ft. from the EVi cor. Sec. 24, T. 40 S., R. 17 W. and there stored stor-ed from January 1 to December 31 inclusive of each year. It is also desired de-sired to store 2000 acre ft. of water from Dameron Wash by means of aforesaid dam across said wash. The waters so impounded will be released re-leased and conveyed in a pipe line a distance of approx. 15,000 ft. and there used during the entire year Cor producing power for generating elec- tricity and propelling machinery in Iron and Washington Counties and elsewhere within economical distance.. After having been so used said water is to be conveyed a further distance of approx. 15.0(10 ft. and there used for the same purpose and during same period as above. After having been so used the water is returned to the natural channel of Santa Clara Creek at a point S. S6 4 5' E. 350 5 ft. from the NW cor. Sec. 2S, T. 40 S.. R. 17 W. A total of 2000 H. P. will bo produced. This application is designated in the State Engineer's Office as File No. 10123. All protests against the granting of said application, stating the reasons reas-ons therefore, must be by affidavit in duplicate, accompanied with a fee of $1.00, and filed in this office within with-in thirty (30) days after the completion comple-tion of the publication of this notice.
