Show kins of Lehi, John Watkins of American Ameri-can Fork, Gordon Farguharson and Oscar Watkins of Alpine. o- lowing the supper a picture show was given under the direction of Lewis Cameron. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bates and daughter, Iris, were Idaho visitors the forepart of the week. They report a very pleasant trip. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Peterson and children of Morgan, were guests during dur-ing the week of Mr. Peterson's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. S. 0. Strong. Among the out of town visitors to spend Memorial Day here were: Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hyde, Mr. and Mrs. Frisbie, Mrs. J. M. Jensen, Mrs. George Dunsdon and children, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Benson, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Brown and children, Mr. and .Airs. Verl Brown, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Booth and Mr. and Mrs. Alma, Bownes of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Walton, Mr. an'd Mrs. Ivan Walton, Mrs. Thomas B. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. A If awn Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Funeral services will be held Monday, Mon-day, June 3, in this city for Mrs. Dortha Farguharson, 69, who died Friday, May 31, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Effle Bushman, in Lehi. Mrs. Farguharson was born in Denmark. Den-mark. She came to Utah as a small girl, and has made her home practically practic-ally all her life in Alpine. The foL lowing children survive: Mrs. Mary Chaney, Lorenzo Watkins of California, Califor-nia, Mrs. Effie Bushman, Joseph Wat- ALPINE NEWS Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter. Joseph Little and sons, Artie and Charles, and Mrs. Mary E. Little motored to Carey, Idaho, Friday. They were accompanied by Miss Thelma Whitby, who has been teaching teach-ing school at Lehi the past year. They will visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Whitby indefinitely. The Relief Society served a supper Friday evening to obtain means to apply on the church building. Fol-' |
