Show Daughters Of Pioneers To Give Relic Shower Next Tuesday A relic shower is being given by the Daughters of the Pioneers next Thursday afternoon, June 6, in the City Hall, to which the public is invited. in-vited. The entertainment commences at 2:30 p. m. Everyone is asked to bring some pioneer relic to this function, which contribution will be placed in the pioneer relic case placed sometime ago in the Public Library through the efforts of this organization. It is especially 'desired that a little history of the relic be attached to the article. It is to be distinctly understood that the contribution will not take any ownership claims away from the article, but will merely be used for exhibition purposes, as the Daughters of the Pioneers are very anxious to fill their project case. A program will be enjoyed the forepart of the social to consist of the following numbers: history of the first church in American Fork, Mrs. Bertha iSagers; vocal solo, Mrs. lone Russon; history of the first school house, Mrs. Pearl Loveless; vocal solo, Mrs. W. R. Halliday; vocal vo-cal duet, Virginia and Sarah Shelley; reading, Mrs. Mary E. Abel. Following the program, refreshments refresh-ments will be served. A good attendance is desired. o |
