Show SPRINGVILLE IS INVITED TO PRICE ROUNDUP An invitation to the residents of Springville and Utah county to attend the annual Robbers' Roost Roundup at Price on July 11, 12 and 13, was extended to the city administration this week by Mayor J. Bracken Lee of Price. Through the Springville city council, Mayor Lee addressed the following message to local citizens: citi-zens: "On July 11, 12 and 13, Price's annual Robbers' Roost Roundup will commemorate that vibrant pioneer era when was kindled kin-dled the flame of the state we cherish today. Believing that all Utahns share in common from the backgruond, a priceless heritage of independent thought and action, the Price city council feels that it is only fitting o invite the residents resi-dents of Springville and surrounding surround-ing communities to join with us in observing our fourth annual western west-ern festival. "Not only do we promise you one of the west's outstanding rodeos, ro-deos, but we also assure you that free-flowing hospitality and lusty, informal cameraderie will be implicit im-plicit in the nature of the entertainment enter-tainment to be provided. We will be indefinitely delighted to have you with us on July 11, 12 and 13." Mayor Lee points out that Price roundup's affiliation with the rodeo ro-deo association of America assures the appearance of some of the brightest stars in rodeo firmament. In addition to a full program of roping, bulldogging, bronc riding, and bull riding, the nightly program pro-gram will derive flavor and distinction dis-tinction from a number of specialty special-ty and novelty acts. Foremost among these will be Luke J. Pasco Pas-co and his world famous shepherd dogs. These champion animals have displayed their uncanny intelligence in-telligence at the nation's greatest fairs and stock shows. Their appearance ap-pearance at Price -will be theii first in Utah. Other highlights of the program will be Skyeagle and Sunbeam, reputedly re-putedly the na'Uon's finest Indian Bow and arrow act, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dean, whose sparkling trick riding, roping and whip-cracking whip-cracking act is in demand along the entire rodeo circuit. |
