Show ...... ALPHA liETA OLFB HOLDS LAST CTRREXT MEETING Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson was hos tess to members of the Alpha Bet; club Thursday afternoon at he home, at the last meeting of th current year. Highlight of the afternoon's en tertainment was a review of thi book, "The Native Son," given b; Mrs. Howard Thorpe. Mrs. Carl Nelson was appointee the new program chairman to re place Mrs. Kay Colton, who ii moving from Springville. Mrs Wallace Brockbank will assisl Mrs. Nielson. Mrs. A. O. Packard was appointed secretary to replace Mrs. Carl Nelson". During the afternoon, af-ternoon, Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson, outgoing president, turned the meeting over to Mrs. F. C. Packard, Pack-ard, newly elected president of the club. In conclusion refreshments were served to eighteen members and Mrs. Etta A. Brandley of Raymond, Ray-mond, Alberta, Canada, and Mrs. Olive L. Anderson, guests. |
