Show Mr. and Mrs. George A. Hall Announce the Marriage Of Their Daughter, Florence WASHINGTON, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Hall announce the marriage of their daughter, Florence, Flor-ence, to Merrill L. Lamb, son of Mrs. Edward Lamb of Orderville. The marriage vows were recited by the couple on the evening of Thursday, Jan. 15, in Las Vegas, at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Whipple, the bishop officiating. Accompanying the couple to Las Vegas were their friends, Mr. and Mrs. Hanse Chamberlain of Orderville, Order-ville, who took them as guests on a brief honeymoon through Kingman, Phoenix, Prescott and Mesa, Ariz., returning through Flagstaff and the Kaibab. On Tuesday evening, Jan. 20, the bride was honored with a shower at the home of her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hall, with 90 women of Washington and elsewhere else-where attending, to shower the bride with gifts and good wishes. After a brief program of music, singing and readings, the toast of the evening as a costumed floor show, dramatizing the incident of the couple's Las Vegas marriage. The bride then opened the many beautiful gifts. For this informal reception the bride wore a dinner dress of blue rayon and wool, with a corsage of rosebuds. Included in the refreshments re-freshments served was an elbaor-ate elbaor-ate wedding cake, the work of her sister, Miss Phoebe Hall, who decorated dec-orated it in blue, matching the bride's costume. Mrs. Lamb has been employed for several years in Hall's store at Washington, and Mr. Lamb is a young agriculturist of Orderville. Order-ville. They will leave for Orderville Order-ville this week end to make their home. |
