Show Lynn Southam to Be 1961 Rotary Representative Lynn Southam, stud ntbody president at Pleasant Grove High School has tM'en named a delegate dele-gate to the 1961 Rotary. Youth Conference. Sponsored by the Salt Lake Rotary Club, the teenage leadership conclave, will be held April 22 through 25. During the three days of the conference the more than 50 youths from Utah's secondary schools will live at the Itmics of prominent Salt Lake City Ro-tarlans. Ro-tarlans. They will also attend special religious services, visit important industrial and business institutions and tour' the U of U campus. While at the University llwy will take written examinations. The results of these tests will serve as a basis to determine who receives the scholai-ships at U of U paid for by the sponsoring sponsor-ing club. The conference will conclude with an awards banquet and a dance. According to Prinipal A. J. PvOgers, Lynn was chosen on the basis of character, resourcefulness, resourceful-ness, habits, personality and health. He is Uie son of Mr. and Mrs. Loe Southam of this city. |
