Show Manila Cubs Hold Blue and Gold Banquet Feb. 22 The ward recreation hall housed hous-ed the Manila Pack Cub Scouts when they met on Feb. 22 with their parents and guests to enjoy en-joy their Blue and Gold Banquet. More than 70 people were served ser-ved a delicious turkey dinner, which was planned and prepared prepar-ed by the mothers of the Cubs. Guests of thei Cubs included Bishop Bish-op and Mrs. Elliot Howe, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Warnick, and Mr. and Mrs. Byron Carter. Mrs. Carter is ward Primary president The Stake Primary was represented repre-sented by Mrs. Melba Holman. Den Mothers Helen Lindstrom, Inez Ellis, Dora Schow, Joanne Robinson, and assistant den mother Zola Booth helped the boys make the place mats and favors which were used to deflorate deflor-ate the tables. Entertainment was furnished by Bill Holman and Elwood Foot and their Cub Scout sons, who presented an impressive skit. During tthe evening, Dennis Parker was graduated from the Webelos Den, being the first Cub to graduate since the organization organiza-tion of the Manila Pack. Jeff Lindstrom was presented with a ohampionship ribbon which he earned for winning the Pine-' Pine-' wood derby at the previous pack meeting. Ronnie Holman, John Foote, Michael Monson, Brant Monson, Tim Radmall, and Craig Schow, received Good Luck Medals for the most original creations from thedr Genius Kits. Russell Schow is scoutmaster for the Manila Cub Pack. |
