Show M GetlnYounNames For Home-Coming Plans for Milford's first Home-Coming Home-Coming celebration, to be staged in connection with the 1939 County Fair, are fast taking form and it promises to be one of the most enjoyable en-joyable features of a week that I will be crowded with, entertaining and informative activities. .So as not to interfere with complete com-plete enjoyment of the fair features, fea-tures, the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, September 6, have been selected for the Home-Coming program, with Thursday, Friday Fri-day and Saturday left open for visiting vis-iting and complete enjoyment of the fair and race meet. A beef barbecue, band concert and program are 'being planned for the late afternoon of Wednesday, to be followed with an "old times" dance to last as long as the Home-Comers, highly privileged persons for that entire week, desire de-sire the dance to last. To make the Home-Coming feature fea-ture a complete success, it will be necessary to have the names and present addresses of former residents resi-dents of Milford, Frisco, Newhouse, and other former mining camps, for the Home-Coming is planned to apply to them as much as to former for-mer residents of Milford. All lists cf names (being sure to include present addresses in each case) are to be brought to The News office of-fice and to each will be mailed an attractive souvenir invitation card. |
