Show Supervisor Gives Rules for Exhibits Mrs. M. H. Pool, supervisor of the domestic art and science department de-partment of the 1939 Beaver County Coun-ty Fair, reports that the 96-page premium lists for the fair have been printed and will be ready for distribution in. the near future. In the meantime, she wishes to draw attention of the public to some rules which will govern exhibits ex-hibits in that department: The domestic art and science exhibit will be in the new shoip building north of the Milford high school. Articles for exhibit must be in the display room not later than 2 o'clock p.m. Tuesday, September 5, as judging will be done Wednesday, Wednes-day, September 6. Exhibits may be brought in as early as Friday, September 1, and the committee -would appreciate having most of the exhibits brought in at that time. Potted plants must be in the exhibit ex-hibit room not later than Tuesday, September 5, at 2 o'clock; but cut flowers may be brought in not latv er than 9 o'clock a.m., Thursday, September 7. The committee members wish to ccTrect an erroneous impression that no article that no article made prior to 1939 will receive a prize. This rule applies only to quilts. M |
