Show Mrs: Rudolph Nielsen was hostess host-ess to her bridge club last Thursday Thurs-day afternoon. Those present were Mrs. J. M. Williams, Mrs. J. R. Murdock, Mrs. William Cochrane, Mrs. M. H. Pool, Mrs. George Fernley, Mrs. Eugene McGee and Mrs. J. M. Hughes Prizes were received by Mrs Murdock, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Fernley and Mrs. Cochrane. Anything can happen when court is in session! Jay Jeffers and sister Vera of Salt Lake spent a few days this week visiting Milford friends. Don't be surprised! Court will be in session this Saturday evening and each Saturday thereafter! 'Harry Smurthwaite of Salt Lake was a Milford arrival Tuesday and is assisting in the Jefferson store. W. H. Pool of Salt Lake City is visiting at the home of his son, M. H. Mrs. Myron Lewis came over I from Cedar City Monday for a few days visit here with relatives and friends. Clay and family visited Sunday and part of Monday with Mr. Clay's parents, Judge " and Mrs. E. W. Clay, at Burbank. Mrs. E. E. Gray, returned home Saturday from Logan, where she attended a four weeks summer school dressmaking course at the Utah State Agricultural college. Mr. and Mrs. Karl S. Carlton, accompanied by Mrs. Del Carlton, an aunt of Mr. Carlton, returned home Tuesday from a few weeks tour of Utah parks and other places of interest in southern Utah. ' Miss Beverly Beck of Pueblo, Colorado, who has been visiting in Milford the past several weeks at the home cf her aunt, Mrs. R. 0. Peak, left for her home Saturday afternoon. Master Charles Bruce Taggart and sister Joanne of Salt Lake andi Ada Joy Cannon of. Cedar City, J nephew and nieces of Mrs. Ru-i dolph Xielsen, are guests at the j Nielsen home. j Mrs. Fred Jefferson arrived home last Friday from several weeks stay in Nevada City, California, Cali-fornia, where she visited at the home of her daughter Dolly and helped welcome a fine new baby at their home. Work has begun on another new home for Milford that of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Waddingham to be built on one of the lots located, on north Stoddard street, between the old Williams homestead and the J. R. Murdock residence. Word was received here Wednesday Wed-nesday morning of the death of Mrs. Jeanetta Wilding Poulton, 78, of Salt Lake- City, mother of Mrs. George Moore. Mrs. Poulton died Monday morning at her home in Salt Lake of a heart ailment. 'Mr. and Mrs. Sam Colovich and two sons of Eureka have been guests at the Frisco home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Hanney. Mr. Colovich, Colo-vich, superintendent and master mechanic of the Chief Consolidated Consolidat-ed mine at Eureka since 1918, is an uncle to Mr. Hanney. 0. C. Koch, local manager of the .Telluride Power company, accompanied accomp-anied by Mrs. Koch and their daughters, Rosetta and Rosalie, left Saturday afternoon on a trip to the San Francisco World's fair, te ibe followed by a few days spent In southern California. Mrs. Leon Jones entertained last Friday at a birthday party in honor of the third birth anniversary anniver-sary of her little daughter Joan. Those enjoying the afternoon were David Griffiths, Donald Jones, Carma Patterson, Eddie and Pattie Lou Smith, Richard and Dorothy Fisher, Ted Bradshaw, Sandra and Delane Johnson, Kenneth, LaRae and Janice Gangand of Ely; Dickie, Virgil and Carlos Valantine and Jane Ann Gunn of Beaver.
