CHOCOLATE MOLASSES BROWNIES cup Spry 2 eggs 2 ounces chocolate Ya cup sugar cup sifted flour Vl cup molasses Vi teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon vanill teaspoon Bait 1 cup nuts, coarsely chopped Melt Spry and chocolate together over hot water. Cool. Sift flour with soda and salt. Beat eggs until light, add sugar and molasses, then chocolate choc-olate mixture, and blend. Add flour, vanilla, and nuts and mix well. Bake in a Sprycoated 8 x 8-inch pan in moderate oven (350F.) 35 to 40 minutes. Cool and cut in squares. Makes 16. |
