Show PLAYGROUND IS POPULAR I FOR YOUNGSTERS According to reports from the recreational directors, Art Hughes and Mrs. Madge Crandall, the enrollment en-rollment at the city park in the playground activities is much higher high-er this year than last an,d more children are enjoying the supervised super-vised activities provided by the capable leaders. Enrollment exceeds ex-ceeds 135 children. Included in the weekly program, which runs from 2 to 5 p. m. daily, Monday through Friday, are various var-ious games and supervised activities activi-ties that are planned for the betterment bet-terment of the child. One day each week there is a special "Treasure Hunt" or a "Candy Shower." Director Hughes states that the dancing and swimming activities will begin in about three weeks. All children between the ages of 6 to 14 years who wish to get in the swimming activities must participate par-ticipate and register at the park. |
