Show INSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN FOR CIVIL AIR PATROL Classes in basic instruction for the Springville-Spanish Fork unit of the Civil Air Patrol have begun, with the fourth meeting scheduled Friday night at the Spanish Fork airport. Although the full quota of members has not as yet been secured, se-cured, work is going ahead in the hopes that interested persons will soon join in this very splendid defense organization. The first-aid instruction is- under un-der the direction of Lee Miner of this city, with David Friel giving military drill. Classes are held each Monday and Friday evening at 8 p. m. at the airport. Members are enthusiastic about the exceptional training under the patrol set-up, which is given absolutely abso-lutely free, and urge a sign-up as soon as possible of many more in this vicinity. |
