Show Dog Fight. I The yesterday's dog fight commenced com-menced on East Temple street, and the last bites were taken on First South. That ".strange yaller dog" was mixed up in the aflair, and, strange to say. got away with his dorg, whoseiiair he scattered for a distance often rods, besides leaving sundry pieces of his own llesh by the wayside. way-side. The usual number of people witnessed tho "dog-goned" aflair, the ladies especially being well represented. represent-ed. One of the latter had evidently bet her money on the dog which was minus his caudal extremity, and as "bobtail" was getting the worst of the fight, she laid it to his unfortunate unfortu-nate loss; but when "L'no Hoo" which the same is a bachelor kindly informal her that the loss of the "dog-goned" thing did not, in the least, detract from the executive powers pow-ers of the fighting end of the animal, the aforesaid young lady appeared more hapnv. |
