I The family referred to in the alxve ! communication in a lady named Cur-ley Cur-ley and live children, who arrival in this eity from 1'ioche on Tuesday. She had some furniture and a cook stove, which were pledged to the man who brought her up for the expenses of the trip. She supposed her husband, hus-band, Mike Curley, was in the city and would redeem the pledged articles arti-cles and provide for her wants. Curley Cur-ley cannot be found, and the lady and her family arc left here in destitute circumstances, iconic of the citizens have kindly supplied her wants up to the present time, and wc are pleased to learn that Mayor Wells has taken hold of the matter, and will supply the necessities of the unfortunate family fam-ily in the future until other arrangements arrange-ments are made. |
