Show PUBLIC INVITED TO VIEW ATO An inside look at the much-publicized much-publicized atom will be in the offering for Utahns next Feb. 26-27, 26-27, when the nation's most complete com-plete atomic energy exhibit comes to the campus of Brigham Young University, Provo. Sponsored by the Extension Division and the College of Arts and Sciences of BYU, the nation touring show will be at the Provo Pro-vo school for two days, and will be exhibited in the J. S. Ballroom. Ball-room. The display will be free to the public and many groups of students from around the state will be making special trips to Provo to take in the show. Broken down into understandable understand-able terms through simple ano-gies, ano-gies, the display attempts to give the average person a general understanding un-derstanding of the workings and possiDimies oi tne atom. Dag-wood Dag-wood Splits the Atom" is one section that is presented in comic strip style for the younger set who need a more digestible view. The complex subject will be tackled through the aid of films, slides, and lectures with every-i every-i thing aimed at simplification for a good general . understanding. Eight specially trajied lecturers from the university will be on hand to help explain the various sections. The exhibits will be brought to Utah in a large moving van fitted especially to haul the show and a capacity crowd is expected expect-ed for each of the two days the exhibit will remain in Provo. The committeemen in charge of the project includes Bob Hell-ewell, Hell-ewell, physical facilities; Clarence Clar-ence Tyndell, films and slides; Dr. Milton Marshall, civil defense and Edwin Butterworth, publicity. |
