The colorful drill began as Miss Cherri Olsen and Dennis Carri-gan, Carri-gan, walking hand in hand down the gym floor, introduced the theme of the drill, "Sweetheart Fantasy." . Cherri and Dennis were followed fol-lowed by Lucy Zanardi and Carrie Car-rie Vidalakis, who were carrying carry-ing the decorative drill poster. The club members followed carrying car-rying gaily decorated hearts in their hands. Clever formations .were formed form-ed including a large bow through which an arrow passed and a heart formation, again with the arrow passing through. Rebecca Aguayo recited a clever poem expressing the wishes of the Minerette club for this year's Valentine's day. The poem was composed by Darlene Anderson. The drill was brought to an end with the formation of a giant ladder. It was agreed by the basketball basket-ball public that the drill was skillfully executed and greatly enjoyed. ' |
