Show IMPERSONATION OF OFFICER IS CHARGED A warrant was issued by the County Attorney's office Friday for the arrest of J. B. Lavin on the charge of Impersonating Imper-sonating an officer. It is alleged that whils acting as collector for a local firm he went to a home and took away a baby cab that had been partly paid for, telling the woman of the house that he was a deputy sheriff. Lavin was given special police powers by the Council upon the recommendation recommenda-tion of Chief Lynch last January In order or-der that he might act as a night watchman. watch-man.
