Show WILL NOT APPOINT A PRODUCE DEALER WASHINGTON, Dec. 16. Walter S. Snyder and George Bond of Baltimore have presented to President Roosevelt a petition of 3000 produce and fruit dealers in all parts of the country requesting re-questing that he appoint to the Interstate Inter-state Commerce Commission a member of the fruit and produce trade. The President expressed the opinion that it would not be' desirable to have as a member of the commission a man who was intimately identified with that trade and who might be personally concerned con-cerned in the decisions he would be called on. in the performance of his duties, to make. |
