Show ROW OVER THE AWARDS Investigation Into Fraud Charges at World's Fair to Be Made. SlS. LOUIS. Dec.' 16. Laurence Gra-harne, Gra-harne, secretary of the national World's fair commission, in a statement issued in response to a request for information informa-tion as to the controversy over the Louisiana Purchase exposition awards says that he has been notified by representatives rep-resentatives of States and by individual individ-ual exhibitors that they will not accept ac-cept diplomas without the signatures of President Carter of the national commission. He says that charges of bribery and fraud, supported by affidavits, have been made by several exhibitors and that the national commission will insist in-sist on investigation concerning the charges. |
