Show Mrs. Alice A. Moffett Dies Mrs. Alice Ann Moffett, 74, mother moth-er of Benjamin F. Moffett and sister sis-ter of Mrs. Sarah E. Madsen of this city, died at the home of her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Pearl Webb, in Salt Lake Wednesday noon after an illness of months following influenza. The deceased was born April 2, 1859, in Ogden a daughter of Charles and Alice Horrocks Wood. She married William A. Moffett of Eden and they became the parents of ten children, nine of whom survive. sur-vive. Mr. Moffett died some years ago. The Moffett family resided here for about ten years, coming from Ogden Valley, and left about twenty four years ago for Burley, Idaho. Surviving are the following children: child-ren: Charles, Seattle, Was.; William Will-iam A., Burley, Idaho; Benjamin, American Fork; Lewis W., Seattle; Mrs. Mamie Searle, Burley; Mrs. Pearl Webb, Salt Lake; David, Mrs. Mabel Stanger and Carlos of Burley, Idaho. Surviving also are the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters: Charles S. Wood, View, Idaho; Sarah E. Madsen, American Fork; Joseph Wood, Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Jesse Misner and Mrs. Chloe Doxey, Ogden; Og-den; Frederick W., and Benjamin F Wood, Huntsville; and Mrs. Laura 1 McCarty, Los Angeles. Funeral services are being arrang-ed arrang-ed for Sunday in View, near Burley Idaho, and interment will be mad there. |
