Ameri-can Ameri-can Fork, in keeping with all other towns and cities of the nation gave a "birthday party" ball and proceeds pro-ceeds of which go to the Warm Springs Foundation in Georgia institute insti-tute to combat the dreaded disease of infantile paralysis. A cashier's check for the above, amount was forwarded this week by , Stephen T. Shelley, local chairman of the president's party, to Keith Morgan, national treasurer of the birthday celebration movement, in New York. Although definite reports of the amounts raised through this medium by cities of similar size of the state are not at hand, it is doubtful if any other city in the state sponsored a party which proved the financial and social success of the one held here.
