Show i . o Sewing Classes Progressing The sewing classes under the di- rection of Miss Alice Peterson of the U. S. A. C. Miss Lavina Fugal and others is progressing nicely. On Monday from 1 to 4:30 p. m. the First ward ladies cut patterns and receive instructions in all kinds of sewing. Wednesday, Second ward; Thursday, Third ward and Friday the Manila and Lindon wards. On Friday a demonstration will be given by a saleman of the Singer Sewing Machine Co. The classes are well attended. The largest class during the week was composed of fifty-eight members. As many as fifty-six patterns have ( gone out. Patterns can be secured for children and adults for almost any kind of wearing material. Instructions will be given in the care of hose, the cleaning and pressing press-ing of clothes, the care of shoes and many useful hints in home-making. home-making. All ladies are invited to attend.
