Ten Years Ago Now Funeral services for Charles James Stagg were held in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove tabernacle Wednesday with the Third ward in charge. Ten Years Ago Now Miss Stella Fenton returned home last Thursday from an eighteen months mission in California. The First ward will give a program in her honor next Sunday night. Ten Years Ago Now The Second ward Mutuals gave a musical program Sunday night. During the program Mrs. Mae Grua presented the ward with a beautiful piano, the means for which have been raised by the Mutuals in various var-ious ways. Bishop Swenson accepted accept-ed the gift in behalf of the ward and thanked the Mutual workers for their efforts. Ten Years Ago Now Twenty-five of the local sportsmen sports-men spent most of last Friday in Cedar Valley hunting jack rabbits. They killed in the neighborhood of eight hundred. Ten Years Ago Now The Lindon Second ward gave a chicken dinner on Thursday, the proceeds of which will go to pay for the indebtedness on their chapel. About three hundred fifty plates at a dollar each were sold as well as a number of children's dinners at fifty cents each. Over four hundred dollars was raised. |
