Show Alpine News Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter. Under the able dire-tion of Mr. Richard R. Wiser and Miss Doris Forbes a number of young people presented a very beautiful pageant to one of the largest audiences which ever assembled in the new ward chapel Sunday "evening. The costumes cos-tumes were furnished by Mrs. Mary R. Booth and were brought by her from Palestine. Relatives and friends of Miss Myrtle Myr-tle Groo entertained at s wedding reception in honor of her marriage to Mr. Albert Pulley, Thursday evening eve-ning in the gymnasium. Dancing and a short program was the order of the evening and refreshments were served. , Mr. and Mrs. Pulley received many beautiful and useful presents. They will make their home in Alpine on the Stumm Ranch. I A large crowd attended the M. Men's basketball game and dance Christmas night. The game between be-tween Alpine and Salt Lake 15th ward resulted in a score of 25 to 20 in favor of the visitors. Mrs. Benjamin Bates entertained her children and grandchildren at dinner Christmas day. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bates and children. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bates and children, Mr. and Mrs. Loy Beck and children, Mrs. Madeline Made-line Wilkin and children. Mrs. Bates and brother George Boddison, all of Alpine, and Mrs. Francis Pulley and little daughter and Mr. James Grant of American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Frank D. Strong, Mr. Roy Strong and partner, Miss May Strong, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Peterson and children of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. Darrow Turner and little son of Heber, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Warren V. Clark Christmas day. Mr. and Mrs. Oral McGregor and children of California, arrived Saturday night for a visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McGregor, Mc-Gregor, and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Whitby. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Buckner and children of Magna, were guests the forepart of the week of Mrs. Buck-ner's Buck-ner's parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. O. McDaniel. Guests at the D. J. Strong "home Christmas day were Mr. and Mrs Fred Strong and children, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Strong and children, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Strong and children, Mr. and Mrs. Earl M. Devey and children, and Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Baxter and family of Salt Lake. Christmas day guests of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Healey were Mr. and Mrs. Alma Hamnett and children Mr. and Mrs. Henry Beck and children, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Beck and children, Mr. and Mrs. E. D Healey and children, and Mr and Mrs. Ferron Sager of American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Vesper Diamond of Sprmgville, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Harris and children of Lindon, Mr and Mrs. Henry Devey and children and Mr. and Mrs. Atlin H. Brown and children, were guests Christmas day of Mrs. Pheobe Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E.
