Show Mosquito Eradication Eradi-cation Project Starts Here A federal mosquito project was launched in the north end of Utah county yesterday under the C. W. A. works plan. Two crews comprising forty men were started out to clean all drain ditches and open up all the sloughs between the lake and the towns with a view of destroying all breeding places of the mosquito. It is expected that this work will keep this many men busy from now until February. The workers were drawn from the entire district, 13 going from American Fork, and a like number from each of the other towns. This brings the local number of C. W. A. workers to over a hundred now from American Fork. Ninty-one Ninty-one are engaged in improving and rebuilding roads in the city. Another An-other group of workers are expected to be put to work on the new Utah State Training buildings where work was resumed Wednesday by the contractor. con-tractor. The open weather has permitted per-mitted the building program to be resumed at this institution and if it continues wrarm the building will be pushed to completion without further delay, it is reported. Payroll checks amounting to $2,-880.00 $2,-880.00 for two weeks work were released re-leased to the 91 workers last week, half the amount being received a week ago Tuesday and the other half on Saturday.
