Show City Government Reins Changes Hands Tuesday On Tuesday, January 2nd, at 12 o'clock noon, the city administration administra-tion will change hands and William S. Storrs, mayor-elect will assume office for the coming two years. Mr. Storrs replaces Mayor Warren Anderson An-derson who has served in this capacity capa-city for the past two years. The new city councilmen who will take the oath of office are Albert Tregaskis, Democrat, elected for a term of four years; Bert Christensen, Democrat; Orval C. Mercer, Democrat, Demo-crat, and Rulon Nicholes, Republican, Republi-can, elected for a term of two years each. H. M. Steele, Republican, is the hold-over councilman, elected for a term of four years at the election two years ago. Thomas A. Barratt will again serve as city recorder and Mrs. Mary J. Cunningham as city treasurer, having hav-ing been re-elected last November. The retiring .councilmen are Del-bert Del-bert Chipman, Norman A. Wing, Mor?.l D. Steele and William S. Storrs. |
