Show Panguitch High School Students Receive Full Tuition Scholarships PANGUITCH Five students from Panguitch High School were awarded full tuition scholarships through the Applied Technology Education program. Students applied for the scholarships scholar-ships through the Utah State Office of Education. Department specialists special-ists ranked each applicant based on their portfolio, grades, awards, and their work-related internships. The scholarships recognize the best of academics, work-related activities, and work-based learning. Those receiving the scholarships were: Jesse Hatch, son of Steve and Janice Hatch, who received a scholarship to Utah Valley State College in Orem for Engineering: Trade and Technology; Casey McCullough, son of Robert and Jill McCullough, who received a scholarship schol-arship to Utah State University in Computer Science; Jocelyn Marshall, Mar-shall, daughter of Steven and Marilyn Mar-ilyn Marshall, who received a scholarship to UVSC in Health Science; Katrina Bourland, daughter of Dan and Debbie Bourland, who received a scholarship to Utah State (See ATE on page 5-A) v ATE From Front Page University in Health Science; and Nicholas Mack, son of Robert and Becky Mack, who received a scholarship schol-arship to UVSC in Engineering: Trade and Technology. Individual portfolios included applied technology courses, work experience, awards and honors, hobbies, applied technology plans, work-related internships, letters of recommendation, and evaluations from employers. A recognition dinner will be held at UVSC on May 5. The governor gov-ernor or his education specialist will be the speaker. Parents of the scholarship recipient are invited, as well as Janice Hatch, who is the advisor over ATE scholarships. |
