Show - .-. r Garkane Annual Meeting Set In Tropic Apr. 20 TROPIC Bryce Valley High School in Tropic will be the site of the first session of Garkane Power Association's 1999 Annual Meeting. Meet-ing. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, Apr. 20 with registration, displays and a health fair beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the business session ses-sion at 7:30 p.m. The annual meeting is a tradition tradi-tion with cooperative members. Those in attendance will learn about important issues which affect Garkane, listen to informative speakers, enjoy local entertainment, and participate in elections for members of the Board of Directors. The session in Tropic will bring together Garkane members from two districts: the Bryce ValleyHatch Val-leyHatch area (District 6) and the Cedar Mountain area (District 8). The District 6 director election sees incumbent director William Nelson challenged by Hugh Wilson. In District 8, Neil Biggs faces Bud Dinges to fill the position being vacated by David Skougaard. Members in the two districts received re-ceived ballots in the mail earlier in the month. Voting may be done by mail, or members can deposit their ballots at the annual meeting session. ses-sion.
