Provo, Utah, Feb. 3, 1913.-The Alumni Association of the Brigham Young University has recently purchased pur-chased fo. ty acres of choice land on and adjoining Temple Hill, just north of the Maeser Memorial Building. About eight acres of this trai-t Aili be turned over to the University to square up and enlarge into jp.mpus, while the rest has been piatted into lois, forming a must attractive town-site, town-site, which will no doubt later become be-come part of Provo City. Tne Alumni Association is jubilant over this acquisition for it is t!:e place that thousands uf former students, stu-dents, teachers and visitors to Provo have pointed out as the only place in this section for a real college town, aemoved from the smoke and dust of the City and commanding a mag nificent view of one of the fiueat landscapes in the world. Th purpose of the Alumni Association Associ-ation is to aid in the general growth and development of the school and of Provo City, and to do something in a substantial way for the college library. The new town-site has, however, not yet been christened and the Association As-sociation has decided to offer a prize of ten dollars in cash for the moat appropriale name for the latest, yet not lost, child of a truly great institution. insti-tution.
