The new Monday night league got away to a good start thin week with some excellent scores made by teams and individuals. Davis-Sylvester-Garton set the pace with 2060, and a single ime 739, with the Hcnatsch-Eby team coming a close second with 2007 and 736 for series and ringle game. Bill Ward went wild g;,mes of 259, 225, and 201, for a 685 series, making it tough for anybody any-body to beat him. Eleven of the six-jteen six-jteen ladies' in the league raised their averages. The Henatsch-Eby Henatsch-Eby team finished in first p.ace, only one point ahead of the Nes-lin-Gillespie and Randall-Lankin teams who were tied for second place. Several of this league have joined the new Monday night group for the next six week:j. The Monday night league continues con-tinues to show some mighty hot bowling. The Morley-Steverson team had a 2089 series and single game of 798. Ab and Afton Ward thought they had a high game with 411 pins, but Parley and Erma Stevenson sneaked in with 414 to win the week's prize. Bill Wards 259 league game won him the tie clasp last veek. |
