Show OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST From the Capitol one can either look down into Memory Grove, a park dedicated to the World War heroes, or can take the steps or road and go down to this beauty spot. Wasatch Drive will give the visitor vis-itor a further opportunity to view the city as a whole while making the trip to Fort Douglas and the University of Utah. Fort Douglas is one of the nicest posts maintained by the U. S-Army. S-Army. Officers' residences and barracks alike line the tree shaded shad-ed streets and paths. The fort boasts a beautiful grass parade ground and a popular golf course. A ride around the University of Utah will show the visitor a campus cam-pus of up-to-date school buildings and grounds with facilities for all college activities. |
