Show LOCAL MAN REPORTS FROM GERMANY Excerpts from a letter written writ-ten "Somewhere in Germany" by a representative of the Sugar House Bulletin.. Pvt. Ralph F. Young in a recent letter says at present we are enjoying en-joying the luxuries of showers with plenty of hot water, and a shelter from the rain, although the sun has been shining for the last few days. The day before he stated they had fried chicken and french fried potatoes which was a rare treat after eating K-rations K-rations for days. He had received a package containing ground coffee cof-fee and said it was going fast and he was hoping to get some more soon. His outfit listened to the World Series and there was much speculating spec-ulating as to the winner he picked pick-ed the wrong team. Guard duty and taking care of his vehicle does not leave him much time to do anything but get a little sleep. I l I |
