Show C OF C HAS WELL ATTENDED NOON MEETING John C. Barnes, presided at a well attended meeting of the Sugar Sug-ar House Chamber of Commerce Wednesday noon. Committee chair man reports were made by Allen Seegmiller, Rod Ashton, and L. B. Sheets. Mr. Sheets introduced two new members, Floyd Olsen, and Paul L. Perhson. The Chamber went on record as being one hundred per cent in favor of improved bus service through Sugar House. A. C. Bath, sales manager for the Inter State Brick company, described the process of manufacturing manu-facturing their product and its extensive use in the intermount-ain intermount-ain territory. Ensign Carl C. Hulbert, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Hulbert, 1462 Gilmer Drive, told of some of hisi experience while training in the naval air service. Ensign Hul-bert Hul-bert was stationed at Corpus Cris-ti, Cris-ti, Texas for the past few months. John C. Barnes, of the Crown Cleaning Co. and Holger M. Lar-sensen, Lar-sensen, manager of the Deseret Industries, planned a trip to south-ern south-ern California, along with the business bus-iness conducted at the Chamber of Commerce meeting Wednesday Last reports were that they are leaving sometime Friday afternoon Holger has promised to see John through Las Vegas, and John has pledged to do the thumbing should they be in need of a ride into the city of Angels. m |
