Show 96 of Wounded Men Recover, Army Reports WASHINGTON. The war department depart-ment said 96 per cent of men wounded wound-ed in action have recovered and that about two-thirds of them have returned to duty as a result of modern mod-ern mobile surgery and reconditioning recondition-ing treatment. Figures compiled between be-tween June 25 and July 25, the department de-partment said, show that 23 per cent of the men released from hospitals with serious physical limitations had elected to remain in service rather than be discharged. |
