Show EXHIBITION OF PICTURES. C. W. Carter, Esq. (Esquire), the noted photographer of Salt Lake, has been in Logan several days, making arrangements to give his celebrated exhibition of photographic pictures of scenery, &c (etc.), &c (etc.). This exhibition comprises eight series, numbering in all from 150 to 200 pictures, each covering 15 feet of canvas. They will be shown with the aid of the oxy-hydrogen calcium light. The exhibition includes pictures of Utah scenery and architecture, photographs of noted persons of the Church and Territory, and a great variety of objects of interest. From an advertisement in this issue it will be seen that Mr. Carter will give his exhibition in Providence on Wednesday evening, Jan. (January) 5th and in Millville on Friday evening, Jan. (January) 7th. The entertainment is a most instructive one for the young and old, and comes to us highly recommended. The prices of admission are, adults 25 cents, children 15 cents. The exhibition will shortly be given in Logan but the date is not yet fixed. |
