DANA DeMILLK Neilson, DeMille united in Temple Wedding beautiful wedding cake which was made, decorated and given to the newlyweds by Mrs. Doug (Roma) Knight. Helping in the kitchen were Mrs. Sue Cannon, Mrs. Marie Bulloch, Mrs. Bunny Crowder, Mrs. Dolores Webster, Mrs. Toni Hunter, and Mrs. Louise Holmes. The refreshments were served by Misses Linda Peterson, Paula Baker, Suzan Corry, Joyce Hamblin, Lani Wilson and Kelly Evans. Sally Hunter played background music on the piano throughout the reception. A special program consisted of a number by Cindy Woodbury on the Marimba, three numbers by Debbie Laing's young dancers, a duet by Miss Belinda Neilson and Bishop Raymond Baker, and a sketch of the young lovers' courtship by Debbie Laing. The newlyweds honeymooned in Phoenix, Arizona and Lake Havasu. Prior to the wedding a wedding dinner at Bud's Desirada was hosted by the bridegroom's parents. Other festivities included in-cluded a Tupperware shower given by Debbie Laing, a Miscellaneous shower given by Linda Bishop and Cyndi ; Woodbury, and a personal ! shower given by Jane and Ann Neilson. A trouseau Tea was given by the bride's mother at j the couple's apartment. i Rites solomnized in the St. George LDS Temple January 15, 1977 united Miss Lorie Neilson and Dana DeMille in marriage. President A. Elihu Whatcott officiated at the double ring ceremony. Parents of the young Cedar City couple are Mr. and Mrs. Clemont Neilson, 358 E. College Ave., and Mr. and Mrs. Dale DeMille 171 S. 400 E. That evening the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception in the lst-12th Ward Church. The sleeves were of matching lace as was the wide border on the dress, on the long flowing train and on the fingertip finger-tip tuelle veil which was held by a dainty juliette cap. She carried a bouquet of deep red rose buds, stephanotis and baby breath. Miss Belinda Neilson stood as bridesmaid for her sister and the attendants were Mrs. Curt (Jane) Neilson, Mrs. Steve (Debbie) Laing, Misses Cyndi Woodbury, Dian Cannon, Linda Bishop and Lisa DeMille. Flower girls were Janette Neilson, Laurie and Melanie Wilkey, and Teresa Smith. The attendants wore long dresses of pink polyester crepe which had machine embroidered burgandy hearts (made by the bride) on the bodice which tied in with the dresses of the flower girls. The flower girls wore pink checked gingham dresses with flocked hearts embossed on them. The bridesmaids carried heart-shaped nosegays made up of roses, carnations and baby breath. The flower girls held baskets of pink carnations and baby breath. The mothers of the bridal pair wore long burgandy crepe dresses accented with corsages of deep pink rose buds. Best man was Dean DeMille and the ushers were Vaughn and Curt Neilson, Steve Laing and Greg DeMille. Acting as host and hostess for the evening were Bishop and Mrs. Raymond Baker while Mrs. Vaughn (Ann) Neilson and Linda Lunt presided at the guest book. Gift bearers were Jeff Wilkey, Richard Wilkey, Gary Smith, and Jerry Neilson. Taking care of the gifts were Misses Debbie Bulloch, Dianne Wilkey. Julie Blackburn, Janice Neilson, and Karen Bentley. The flowers and decorating as well as the refreshments were done by an aunt and uncle of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wilkey, owners of the Rose Shop in Salt Lake.
