Show Mr. and Mrs. Richard Boyer, ownersand operators of Southern Utah Mortuary New to Cedar City but not new to funeral directing, Richard and Charlotte Boyer are the new owners and operators of the Cedar City office of Southern Utah Mortuary. Boyer received his mortuary science degree while working with the Reggin Funeral Home in Carbondale, 111., and while attending at-tending Southern Illinois University. Folowing graduation, he was employed with the Hertz Funeral Chapel of Kankakee, 111., where he received his Illinois license. Since 1972, the couple has lived in Salt Lake City where Boyer was associated with McDougal Funeral Homes. "We are very happy to call Cedar City our home and are anxious to become active in the community," the couple said. They have been in business since December of 1976. Married in the Salt Lake Temple and active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Boyers are parents of four: Todd, 6, TyAnn, 5, Traci, 4, and Tara, IV2. Mr. Boyer has served as Sunday School President, teacher, Ward clerk, Aaronic Priesthood Director, Scoutmaster and is presently a Teacher's Quorum Advisor. Mrs. Boyer has served as Sunday School teacher, Primary Scout Teacher, Relief Society Chorister, Stake Primary Board and is presently a Blazer teacher. I I V... . V!- J LJ i -- NEW MORTUARY OWNERS. The funeral home will remain in its present location. The new owners assure all the families in the area that "the Southern Utah Mortuary will continue to serve Southern Utah through quality service with dignity as it has since 1932. All preneeds, trusts or insurances that have been purchased in the past will be honored 100 percent by the Southern Utah Mortuary." |
