Friday here visiting and then they all went to St. George to visit with another sister, Mrs. Stan (Mae) Sagers, who was operated on Wednesday at the Dixie Medical Center. They also visited with their brother-in-law Stan Sagers. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pearce received word that their brother Antone Prince, who has been in the LDS hospital for some time has been transferred to the Cooper Rest Home in St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Dale King and family of Clearfield spent the weekend here, they brought Mrs. King's mother Vada Grant home for a few days to visit with their husband and father Sheldon Grant. Vada has been in Salt Lake LDS Hospital receiving treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Bowcott and family had as their guests over the weekend their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bowcott and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Hutchinson, Hut-chinson, all from Salt Lake City. They came to see their new granddaughter blessed Sunday and given the name of Melynda. A Fathers and Daughters Merry Miss dinner was held at the home of Berdean Schlosser last Wednesday, with a Valentine theme. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Prince and daughter Linda Morris, Mr. Joe Comp and daughter Roshelle. Mrs. Prince is the Primary President, Dorothy Beatty a counselor and Berdean teacher. A special thanks to the good work the Primary officers and teachers are doing for the Primary boys and girls. An Elders Party was held at the church for all elders and partners with a pot luck dinner and games to help make the evening an enjoyable time for all present. Mrs. Darce Vernile Prince and family is here visiting with Venule's parents Mr. and Mrs. Darce Prince and in Cedar with her parents the James Sand-bergs, Sand-bergs, while Vernile is in California attending school. They are from Coke, Wyoming. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince and Gary, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Visiting recently from their home in California with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Prince were Dr. and Mrs. Hal Torgersen. After a few days here they traveled to Koosharem to visit with Hal's parents and then to Provo to visit with their daughter Kay who is attending BYU. It was a special day for Fred Melville, his mother Mrs. Ber-nice Ber-nice Stott, his two sisters Mrs. Doma Frampton, LaNola Joynson and daughter, Mrs. LaRaine Jones and a brother and sister-in-law, the Duane Melville and girls from Fillmore spent Prince and family and Mr. and Mrs. Roland Prince and Kara of Cedar City visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Mitch Schoppmann and family in Cedar City. |
