Show Chief Lists Safety Precautions As School Opening Nears The opening of the fall school term next Monday has prompted Moab Police Chief to issue safety precautions pre-cautions to parents and children. The Chief urges parents to make an early start when driving students stud-ents to school destinations to avoid dangerous rus-hes. Stop signs and other traffic traf-fic laws should be cour-: cour-: teously observed, and chil-: chil-: dien let out of cars in. safety zones. Children riding bikes to school are cautioned to observe ob-serve rules. Do not ride double, ride through traffic traf-fic signals against red lights, or attempt to beat automobiles across intersections. inter-sections. Slow up when crossing alleyways and look both ways before, crossing. Do not ride bikes on sidewalks, or leave vehicles ve-hicles unlocked at school. At night, do not ride bikes unless using headlights head-lights that can be seen for 300 feet, and tail light reflectors re-flectors that may be seen for 200 feet.
