Show Commissioners Hold Meeting B:'.! Cunningham appeared appear-ed at the retrular meet cf .the Grand County Commission Com-mission Monday to make V.n official protest to a proposed link road over the Book Cliffs from Thompson Canyon to Hay Canyon. Commissioner Frei Beyler entered a motion mo-tion that a letter be sent to the Utah National Guard indicating priorities 1. resurfacing re-surfacing Uintah county Road; (2) repair and improve im-prove Hay Canyon; and (3) improve Sego Canyon road from Sego to the Indian In-dian Reservation. The motion mo-tion died for lack of a second. sec-ond. Sam Taylor, Les Roger?, Jack West, Ray Anderson and Winford Bunco met to discuss the proposed road; nothing was settled at this time. In other business bid tabulations were received from the State on gas and diesel fuel for couriey e-quipment, e-quipment, and awarded to Standard. Commissioner Pope moved mov-ed that Commissioner Miller Mil-ler be authorized to sign the resolution agreeing to the "Contract for Planning Assistance" presented by Planning and Research Associates. Detention Home Care was discussed with Floyce Wells; nothing was decided |
