Show Grand County Teachers Set for Institute Friday Grand County teachers will meet at Opening Institute, In-stitute, at the Southeast Elementary School, Friday August 25th. A light break fast will be served fot 8 a m.; meetings are scheduled sched-uled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Material and Learning Centers, and Team Teaching Teach-ing discussions will be presented pre-sented by recognized school officials of Utah. The Materials and Learning Learn-ing Center discussion will be presented by Phillip F. Atyle head of the Materials Ma-terials and Learning Center Cen-ter for the Nebo School District, considered one of the best in the State. He will particularly point out how equipment and materials ma-terials of learning centers can bc used to provide better bet-ter education for the youth. A Team Teaching discourse dis-course will be presented by D. Max Lawrence, teacher tea-cher at the Ilo Farnsworth school in the Salt Lake area especially built for team teaching instruction. Members of the Utah Education Association will be present at the institute including Dr. Lloyd Whit-lock, Whit-lock, Clay Peterson, and Lois Biglow. Teachers will meet Thursday evening primarily primari-ly to better acquaint themselves them-selves with school policies. On Friday evening, following follow-ing the institute, the Grand Education Association Associa-tion will host at Steak fry at the City Park for Moab teachers.' Schools will open as announced an-nounced the following Mon day, August 28th. |
