Show Melon Days Planning Nov Underway A meeting of the cluhK, flvurolies, school and civic leaders was held last week at. the Legion Hall in Green River to make far-ther far-ther arrangements for the Melon Day's celebration. This is to be held at Croon River September the 10' li and 171 h. The following chairmen were elected: Gene Dunham, Dun-ham, general chairman of the celebration; Mary Velere and James Banasky finance; I.etitia Thompson queen's; Rloy May, Parade; Vernon Hall, carnival; Opal Searson, publicity and Craig Wilson as coordinate coordina-te for the school. The day's activities will einnmieiice with the parade para-de at 10 o'clock to be followed fol-lowed by the events taking place at the city park, rodeo grounds and ball park, with free melons being be-ing served both days.
