OCR Text Pelicans Lose J Fish as Flier Circles Field Hero Here is il a good fish story It comes from a most moat unexpected the source Salt Lake Airport As the result of the incident a lot Jot of pelicans will be e without their Sunday dinner It seems that Tommy Thompson Thomp- Thomp son was coming in to land with hi little which is not much larger than one of the big white birds As Tommy circled the field to get the wind direction the pelicans seemed to become very excited and confused con con- fused flying in all directions direction Puffs of dust were first noticed and then one of the bystanders W. W C. C Patterson was struck on the arm by by-a by a falling failing object which he discovered to be a large fish Other fish were scattered over the airport and it was was soon ap parent that the pelicans were a their cat catch
