Show SAHARA. Sahara, Utah, Sept. 13, 1910. The Sahara Civic Center Club accepted ac-cepted of Mr. G. C. Hutcherson's hospitality hos-pitality Friday evening, September, 8, IsllG, with the usual good attendance. The storm of the evening failed to keep members of the club at home. The club was called to order by Prs-v Prs-v ident, after which the special business of the meeting, which was the submission submis-sion and adoption of the constitution and by-laws, was taken up. Following the business session and literary program, meeting adjourned until September 27th, to be held nt the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Mark- wtth. The music for the evening was furnished fur-nished by Mr. A. G. Johnson and Mr. Hal Griflin. Refreshments, consisting of a watermelon feast, etc., and a so cial good time concluded the evening. tj Each and everyone voted Mr. Hutch- i, . erson a capable host. r - I Mr. L. J. Nuttall, Jr., county super intendent of schools, recently visited , Sahara, distributing supplies, etc., for , the school, which begins September y 18th, in Mr. Hutcherson's residence, where it was held last year, pending the completion of the school building. High school branches have been added this ytr. Mr. Willard Jones of Newcastle was in Sahara Saturday, September 9th, in the interest of the school, he being a member of the county board of education. edu-cation. MaBter Bryant Chamberlain, after spending a very pleasant summer vacation va-cation with the HedrickB, departed for his home in Loa AngelcH, California, Califor-nia, to be in readiness for the fall term of school. I A Democratic meeting was held on Thursday evening, September 7th, at the school house. Speakers of the evening ev-ening were Hon. John Parry. Dr. M. J. Macfarlane and Mr. Gardner, all of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Patten and baby returned from Cedar City Saturday. T Mr. Brown, our latest arrival, gave a dance Saturday evening, Sept. Uth, in his new residence. V .', .' Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hedrick and daughters, Misses Laura and Carrie, Mrs. D. M. Pearce, and Mr. u. u Hutcheraon, motored to Cedar City Wednesday to nttond the fair. Mr. Hutcherson will also attend the Teachers' Teach-ers' Institute while in the city. Now that our post ofllce is assured we will all bo receiving mail at ba-bara ba-bara Jn the near future.
