Show LIBRARY NOTES. We now have the M. I. A. reading course for 1916-17 arranged for thos. Interested. The list is as follows: Little Women, How We Got Our Bible, Sandsy's Pal. Wild Animals at Home, Jacob Hamblin, Wild Rose3, Under tho Country Sky, nnd Speeches of the Flying Squadron. The home reading for the public school children Is in readiness, as far ns we have the books. Mr. Jack Booth added .the following list of books by gift to tho library: Language Teaching, by Cooley; Scale for Ability in Spelling, Ayers; Teaching Teach-ing of Spelling, Suzzalls; Rural Life and Education, Cubborley; American Commonwealth, Bryce. Elmo Corry contributed to the junior jun-ior department Red Men and White, by Wister, and Frank in the Woods, by Castlemon. Mrs. Esther Wrigley gave as a parting gift to the library, Shakespeare's Shake-speare's Tragedies. San Retta Perry added to the fiction shelves. Diane of tho Green Van, and Keith of the Plains. For the Kindergarten table we now have The Guest of a Brownie, Brownies at Home, and Brownies A- round the World. All B. A. C. students will bo warmly warm-ly welcomed at the public library. Quite a list of books have been added during the vacation, our card catalogue cata-logue is approaching completion, 'giving 'giv-ing us an assurance that we can give greater service than ever before. |
