Miss Weiss is a homesteader near Beryl and expects to leave for Salt Lake in a few days, where she will make final proof on her land. Later she will pay a visit to her family fam-ily at Los Angeles, Cal. Miss Grace Slueder and little son Derral of Lund are visiting at the home of Mrs. J. S. Brown. Mrs. Jennie Gleason of Eureka, Utah, is here for a short visit with relatives and friends. m Mrs. Emily Caldwell Adams of Salt Lake City is registered at the Bruhn Hotel for a few days. Mrs. Adams is on her way home from St. George, having been attending the convention there. Joshua Rogcrson, a one-time resident resi-dent of this place, but now of Salt y Lake City, is here representing one of the leading newspapers of Salt Lake. Mr. Rogerson went to the Parowan Par-owan Gap and looked over the coal situation there, spending some time on the grounds in preparing a write-up. write-up.
